[ubuntu] Dell Studio 17 keyboard problem

Hello,

I recently installed Precise Pangolin on my Dell Studio 1749 laptop, and one problem I have is with the keyboard.

I have a backlit keyboard, and to cycle through low-high-off I have to press Fn+F6. That works. The problem is that when I do press that key combination, I lose the use of my keyboard, and well as the mouse right-click.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea how to fix it?
