[other] Ubuntu wiki vs Ubuntu Community Documentation

Is there a reason why ubuntu has both a wiki and Community Documentation? They both have the same principal as being a wiki. Anyone can edit both the wiki and Community Documentation and anyone can create a page on the wiki and Community Documentation. All you need is a launchpad account. Wouldn't...
