Touchpad is not being re-enable.

i have fedora 14 in my acer 5738 laptop. My laptop have the touchpad disable/enable button. when i disable the touchpad by this button it disables it but when i try to re-enable it then it doesn't re-enable it. Each time i press this button then it notify me about the disable/enable but doesn't...
