I managed to boot Ubuntu in verbose console only mode.
I'm happy with this as it allows to spot early that something is wrong.
From there after login I type startx to launch the default gnome interface.
Or startxfce4 to launch xfce.
I found that kodi-standalone is the command to launch kodi but in that case mouse and keyboard stop working.
They are both WIFI with a dongle.
Am I doing something wrong ?
Also with the default installation I could launch "gnome on wayland" can it be done on CLI ?
