I have a ubuntu 20.04 upgraded from 18.04 running on a UEFI-only Njoy Aerial laptop (some cheap chinease oem) and a few months ago - most likely before 20.04 upgrade my dual-boot broke.
Initially I've used reFIND but that one broke and never got a proper fix.
Then I've configured grub for my dual-boot needs (windows 10 home included license) but that started to brake after each kernel upgrade.
The only fix is to run boot-repair tool after every update that triggers grub.
