When I'm in finder and I right click an app and choose 'Open With', I see multiple versions of the same application all with different version numbers next to them. It looks like MacOS is picking these up as applications that are in backups on my Time Machine drive.

Is there a way to stop this from happening as you can't use the apps anyway and they're just clogging up the menu.
