[ubuntu] How to make startup command auto-restart after closing?

I'm using ubuntu 10.10 as a HTPC, and have LIRC running properly. A function of LIRC, irexec, closes often, and for what reason I have no idea.

Currently I have irexec listed as a command in the Startup Applications when I start the computer.

I was wondering if there was a way to make irexec...
